The Canon iP100 travel printer is the lighest and most compact travel printer currently available with dimensions of only 7.2 x 12.7 x 2.4 inches and weighing only 4.4 pounds. It is a little slower than the HP H470 series printers with 20 pages per minute black printing and 14 pages per minute color printing. It supports IrDA and PictBridge which allows you to print directly from your digital camera or cell phone. You can also connect wirelessly from your laptop with Bluetooth technology. The iP100 has slower print speeds and lower print quality than the HP H470 series but still has decent print speed and quality for a mobile printer. The main drawback of the iP100 is that it doesn't include a USB cable which is pretty annoying when you bring it home and find out you have to go back to the store to get a USB cable. It is one of the larger and heavier travel printers but still light and compact with dimensions of 13.4 x 7.28 x 3.25 inches and weighing only 5 pounds. It has the fastest print speeds available for a portable printer with 22 ppm for black and white and 18 ppm for color. It also has the top printing resolution with 1200 x 1200 dpi for black prints and 4800 dpi for color. One of the bonuses of this printer is that it comes with a lithium-ion battery that will give you 480 pages off of a single charge. Also included is a wireless printer adapter with Bluetooth. It is not as full featured as the H470wbt but still comes with support for PictBridge allowing you do connect a digital camera or cell phone directly and SD/Multimedia cards. It also comes with support for Wi-Fi and Bluetooth but unfortunetly you must purchase the adapter separately unlike the H470wbt. It is a little smaller and lighter than the H470wbt and H470b with dimensions of 13.4 x 6.45 x 3.25 inches and weighing only 4.5 lbs but still considerably larger than the Canon iP100. Like the H470wbt and H470b it comes with great printing resolution at 1200 x 1200 dpi for black and white prints and 4800 dpi for color. Like the H470wbt and H470b it has the very fast print speeds at 22 ppm for black and 18 ppm for color. Unlike the H470wbt and H470b it does not come with a lithium-ion battery.
